Defeats Grifter (highly trained former team 7 black ops soldier with telepathy) in melee combat despite being at an disadvantage of Grifter being able to read his thoughts (which is an impressive level of telepathy for Grifter given Dick's spyral brain protection tech which guards against even telepathy) and telegraph his moves by seemingly confusing Grifter with his escrima sticks which throws him off his game (Grayson #17)
Grayson #6:
- Battles the enhanced super human fighter known as Midnighter for the 2nd time on Midnighter's own home turf known as the "God Garden" despite the disadvantage of being ambushed to begin with. In addition, we learn that Midnighter has prepared himself to combat Dick having studied and memorized his every move as Nightwing but seemingly not as Robin which enabled Dick to gain the advantage over Midnighter by simply switching to his original style of fighting
- At this point Dick is dominating the fight and even has his hand around Midnighter's throat and is about to use spyral hypnos implant on Midnighter to maintain the advantage as a precaution to counter Midnighter's super human enhancements. However, turning the battle in his favor, Midnighter reveals that using the God Garden he's taken away Grayson's spyral hypnos implant and installed the hypnos implant inside his eye which surprises Dick allowing Midnighter to gain the decisive upper hand
- Just as Grayson is about to be seemingly finished off by Midnighter, we see Dick cleverly exploit a weakness in his spyral hypnos implant using a secret code word failsafe (the same one Helena used against him) that shocks Midnighter's brain and weakens him enough for Dick to deliver a knock out blow and win the fight
Takes a move out of Bruce's playbook combined with his own to quickly take down The Reaper (who's been ressurected like a zombie) a former enemy of Bruce Wayne Batman (Batman #704)
As a rookie Robin, he outsmarts and apprehends Mr. Freeze by luring him into a trap he sets up on the spot (Robin Year One #3)
Subdues Fireball (fire based meta human) with foam capsules (Nightwing #124)
Takes down Firefly by clogging his jets using a foam gun and then stirs him through a billboard (Batman Streets of Gotham #2)
Uses riot foam to subdue Sister Crystal who has the power to turn anyone into glass upon touch (Batman & Robin #26)
Takes down a well armed winged soldier using a taser (Nightwing #142)
Takes out a young & stronger Creighton Kendall (who's turned himself into one his winged men) by cleverly turning him into a lightning rod (Nightwing #146)

In a flashback as Robin he comes to Batman's aid and tricks Clayface 2 into the cold where the temperature would quickly freeze him
After Clayface evenutally manages to break free Dick once again subdues him using the environment to his advantage
Defeats the original Blockbuster by luring him into a trap he thought of on the spot (Robin Year One #2)
Tricks Blockbuster into bringing down a building on himself (Nightwing #15)
Coming to Flash's (Wally West) aid, he takes out Girder by exploiting his weakness to water (Flash #210)
Despite being led by a speedster into a very dark tunnel where he couldn't see then being sneak attacked, he's still able to cleverly counter attack by blinding the speedster with a muzzle flash discharged from his gun which causes the speedster to crash into a wall (Grayson #2)
Takes out Breathtaker (meta human who can control the wind) by redirecting Killshot's missiles towards her with his cable line (The Titans #21)
Subdues an insane Starfire with gas (The New Titans #102)
Takes down Shimmer with a wing-ding by surprise (Tales of the Teen Titans #58)
